Guard (computer science)
BOOLEAN EXPRESSION EVALUATED TO DETERMINE IF A BRANCH OF A COMPUTER PROGRAM SHOULD CONTINUE TO BE EXECUTED
Guard statement; Pattern guard; Guard statements; Guard (computing); Guard clause; Guard pattern
In computer programming, a guard is a boolean expression that must evaluate to true if the program execution is to continue in the branch in question.
Include guard
CONSTRUCT IN C AND C++
Macro guard; Header guard; Inclusion guard
In the C and C++ programming languages, an #include guard, sometimes called a macro guard, header guard or file guard, is a particular construct used to avoid the problem of double inclusion when dealing with the include directive.
Halden Reactor
NUCLEAR REACTOR IN HALDEN, NORWAY
Halden Boiling Water Reactor; Halden test reactor
The Halden Reactor was a 25MW (thermal) nuclear reactor located in Halden, Norway and dedicated for research. Construction started 1955 and the reactor became operative in 1958, and was operated by the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE).

Microreactor

A microreactor or microstructured reactor or microchannel reactor is a device in which chemical reactions take place in a confinement with typical lateral dimensions below 1 mm; the most typical form of such confinement are microchannels. Microreactors are studied in the field of micro process engineering, together with other devices (such as micro heat exchangers) in which physical processes occur. The microreactor is usually a continuous flow reactor (contrast with/to a batch reactor). Microreactors offer many advantages over conventional scale reactors, including vast improvements in energy efficiency, reaction speed and yield, safety, reliability, scalability, on-site/on-demand production, and a much finer degree of process control.
